Privacy Policy

The short version

Brezi does not collect personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDK in the app. Brezi works without an internet connection and sends nothing to us.

What stays on your device

Your preferences (who the sound is for, wake-up time, fade length, play along with other apps, play on open, theme), your saved mixes, recently played sounds, your last mix and sound volumes. They are stored only in the app's local storage on your iPhone or iPad and are never sent to us. They are included in your device backups (iCloud or computer) according to your own Apple settings, and they are erased when you delete the app.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Apple. We never receive your name, email address or payment details. The app asks Apple's StoreKit, on your device, whether you have Premium. Apple gives us sales reports and, only if you chose to share analytics with app developers, aggregated statistics that do not identify you. Apple's handling of your data is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.

Notifications

Only if you start the free trial, Brezi asks permission to send one reminder 2 days before the first charge. The reminder is scheduled locally by iOS on your device; there is no push server and nothing is sent to us. You can turn it off in iOS Settings.

Siri, Shortcuts, AirPlay and lock screen

These features are handled by iOS. We receive nothing from them.

If you email us

If you write to help@brezi.app, we receive your email address and what you write. We use it only to answer you and keep it for up to 24 months, or delete it sooner if you ask. Our email provider processes these messages on our behalf, in the United States. Legal basis: answering your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f); LGPD Art. 7, V and IX).

This website

brezi.app is a static website with no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them against attacks.

Children

Brezi is a general-audience app and is not directed to children. Parents may use it while their baby sleeps. We do not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights (GDPR and LGPD)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port and object to the processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD). Because Brezi keeps no data about you, the only data we may hold is an email you sent us. Write to help@brezi.app and we will answer within 15 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date below. If the app ever starts collecting data, we will say so here and in the App Store privacy label before the update is released.
